Contracted through The Red Door Collaborative our objective was to design email templates as part of a relational marketing campaign for Microsoft's Visual Studio "msdn." Visual Studio's msdn is software which allows designers and developers to understand each other in order to create applications. It connects ideas, devices and people around the world. Inside this environment teams can not only create applications, but test their creations in virtual real world scenarios. Microsoft needed to maintain an ongoing relationship with their customers using this software. The goals for the design was to provide the reader with: an account status update, educational resources and promotional sale opportunities. This email would allow the user to keep a healthy account status and use their product to it's greatest potential. We maintained brand continuity and kept the design clean and structured in an effort to create a four second digestion rate.
